Food connoisseurs Bob and Allison Armstrong became the proud owners of the iconic Maunders Food Shop in August 2017, and have built upon its strong reputation, lovingly established by Tim and Linda Maunder.
Today, the Maunders Marketplace team of butchers, chefs, bakers, and counter staff graciously customize each customer’s journey, ensuring an enjoyable in-store experience and creating a treat for the senses.
With fresh seafood delivered several times a week, on-site dry-aging, and an emphasis on local, sustainable, home-grown food, Maunder’s continues to be York Region’s go-to shop for fresh food and inspiration.

In building Maunders’ iconic legacy, Bob and Allison Armstrong opened their new location at 230 Wellington St. East, Aurora, in May of 2021.
While Maunders continues to offer the same friendly service at their newest address, they have expanded to provide an enriched experience for their customers; including a wood fired pizza oven, eco-conscious products, locally-sourced goods, and beyond.
With the goal of offering an organic, modern, and bright grocery option, Maunders also revealed its new branding: Maunders Marketplace.
